Restoring Our Womanhood

After reading the Janette Oke Love Comes Softly series of books, the inspiration came to look at what it means to be a Christian Woman and ask the question "Are we being like a Fruitful Vine in our households?". It doesn't matter if you are a Mother, Sister, Daughter, Friend, Flatemate or live alone, we each have a contribution that we can make to our homes and world around us.

Each week a new prompt will be posted, with verses to encourage, prayer points and practical applications. We hope that you will jump on board the journey of Restoring your Womanhood and that God will use these challanges to draw us closer to Him and also give us a purpose in our roles.

We would love to hear from those who are following along so please leave a comment, and share a link to your blog :-) Also on the Scrap of Faith forum there is a weekly thread for encouraging each other through the journey.

And why not use the weekly prompts as a scrapping challenge. Rather than keep a journal, you might want to scrap the journey instead.

It's been a very busy month in the Comber house. I just don't know where the time went.
The only challenge I have managed to get to this month was the word challenge "grow". My thought immediately went to my adult children and how I have watched them grow physically. Its also been a joy to watch my daughter grow spiritually. She has overcome so much this year and it has all been through God's grace & power in her life.
This canvas is to remind us as a family that all things only grow through the power and grace of God.
